My Journey

Internships
URI Athletics
Creative Content Producer
2021-2025

As I entered college as a Freshman, I landed a creative content production internship with the University of Rhode Island. The past 4 years have been extremely beneficial for me, meeting amazing players, staff, and coaches has opened my eyes to the real world and given me plenty of experience in fast paced game like environments. I was tasked with creating engaging game-day reels, commitment graphics for athletes, official recruit visit shoots, media day shoots, sit down interviews with players & staff, and traveling with the team to away games to capture content. During this time, I gained valuable experience with camera equipment including gimbals, studio lighting, tripods, lavalier mics, and much more. I started off with a sony a7iii going into college, and had the chance to use an fx30 for a few years throughout my time there, and now have my own fx3 that I use alongside my a7iii for all of my projects. I am extremely grateful to have been a part of such an amazing program!
Novus Clothing Co.
Creative Content Intern
Summer 2024

Landing an internship with NOVUS was beneficial in many ways. I was tasked with making short form content including photo carousels for instagram, engaging reels for IG & TikTok and capturing company events. Studio shoots included everything from pre production to post production. Setting up studio lighting, backdrops, and set decoration were aspects that elevated my knowledge and experience in the clothing industry. Product shoots included flat lay photos, on body model photos, and other creative shots. In terms of events, I was responsible for capturing important scenes and emotions throughout the day, while keeping everything organized and dumping all relevant content in a timely manner. As an intern, sitting in on monthly company meetings allowed me to expand in areas including business analytics, metrics, and much more. I was also tasked with creating a Gen Z deep dive powerpoint that was presented to the company during these meetings in order to find more efficient ways to reach a broader audience and get our content to new eyes.
32 Mile Productions
Production Assistant Intern
Sept. 2020 - May 2021

This company has worked with TLC, Fox Sports, ESPN, PBS and more. Working as a PA was new for me. Organizing media, assisting with studio setup, editing videos, live production & operating RED camera's was all in my daily tasks. I attended my first golf tournament live stream production with this company, which included fast paced & high stress environments. I had to make sure batteries were charged, extension chords were placed where they needed to be, cameras were rigged properly, and lav mics were set up on the correct channels. Working with a skilled team taught me how important thorough communication is on big shoots like this, as well as how important pre production & planning is on these days.

SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
FLM 445 - Director of Photography
I was tasked with being DP/Camera Operator on a short film made on school budget.
This short film was made in FLM 445 which is an advanced production class here at URI, with a 12-15 person crew that had directors, producers, gaffers, grips, and much more.

Advanced Cinematography
FLM 330 - Assistant Camera
In this class, I was tasked with being the AC on a class shoot. For this shoot, we were the first group of students that got to use our new Tilta Float Arm, and I was the first AC to have the chance to set it up!

I was also responsible for pulling focus during this shoot using a wireless follow focus, which is something I have never used until this class.

This short film is a one take film so there was no room for error, and everything had to be choreographed perfectly down to the second.
